An AI assistant connected to Hoppier acts for you, inside rules Hoppier enforces on its servers. Nothing in a prompt can change them.
  • You sign in on Hoppier’s own page, and the assistant never sees your password.
  • The consent page lists what the assistant will be able to do before you approve it. On the Teams server you confirm with a 6-digit code we email you.
  • The first time you connect an app, Hoppier emails you to say that a new app was connected to your account.

One company per connection

A Teams connection works with the one company you picked when you connected. Programs in any other company answer “not found”. On every request, Hoppier checks that you’re still an admin of that company.

Approvals

On the Teams server, Require approval is the default. Every change the assistant asks for (creating a program, adding people, topping up cards, editing or resending invites, changing merchants) waits for an admin:
  • The request records who asked, from which app, and exactly what will happen, with the exact amounts. It can’t change after it’s created.
  • Approve or reject it in the Hoppier dashboard under Company settings → Connected apps. The admin who asked also gets an email with a link.
  • When it’s approved, Hoppier checks it again against your account as it is at that moment, then runs it as the admin who asked.
  • A request nobody approves expires after 24 hours. A company can have 20 requests waiting at a time.
  • The assistant can follow a request with get_action_status.
An admin can switch the company to Auto-approve on the same page. Changes then run straight away, and the limits still apply. If a change stops halfway, it’s marked Needs attention and nothing is retried automatically. Contact Hoppier support so we can check it before anything runs twice. On the Gift cards server, payment is the approval: nothing is charged until you pay the Stripe Checkout link. See its limits.

Revoking access

  • Teams server: disconnect an app in the dashboard under Company settings → Connected apps. This also cancels that admin’s waiting requests. When someone stops being an admin, their connections stop working at their next request.
  • Gift cards server: on hoppier.com/gift-cards, open your account menu, choose Connected apps, and disconnect the app.
  • You can also remove the connector in your assistant’s settings.

Common questions

Yes. MCP is an open standard, and the same servers work with Claude, ChatGPT and other clients that support remote MCP servers.
With approvals on, you approve the exact numbers before anything happens, and they can’t change after that. On the Gift cards server, you see the total on the payment page before you pay.
No. A connection belongs to one company, and Hoppier checks on every request that you’re still an admin there.
Their connection stops working at its next request. Hoppier looks the admin up on every request; it doesn’t rely on the token alone.
No. There are no tools that delete or archive programs or people.
It stops and the request is marked Needs attention. Nothing involving money is retried automatically.
